When you walk in the receptionist is friendly and helpful. The physical therapists are very knowledgeable of the course of treatment best for my recovery of a total knee replacement. What a wonderful place to have in our area. I had a fall & needed to improve mobility & gain strength in my legs (& confidence). I have recently completed 24 PT sessions at the Williamstown location following a knee replacement. Scheduling was very easy through a very nice receptionist.  All of the therapists were excellent. I started with aquatic therapy and then progressed to land therapy. The support and encouragement I received made all the difference in the success of my therapy. I had a total knee replacement and went to FSPT in Williamstown.  I went from "I don't know if I can do this" to having a second total knee replacement 7 weeks later and starting physical therapy all over again! All of the therapists are very knowledgeable, encouraging and they got me moving and almost pain free. The front desk attendant is so nice and knows everything you need to help you with insurance. In 2022, I had the misfortune to break my arm in two places. First Settlement Physical Therapy took great care of my recovery & rehabilitation. When I fell in September 2023 and broke four bones in the hip/pelvis region, First Settlement Physical Therapy did great rehabilitation with me again. I'm pleased to say I've "graduated" from the Physical Therapy program! My strength in the hip/back/leg area is so much better. I surprised myself at my last appointment when I was able to lift my stronger legs without pain. Thank you to all the staff: Andy, Dylan, Jeremiah, Angela, & Rebecca! First Settlement Therapy in Williamstown was such a good place to rehab my shoulders. They were attentive and gave good suggestions for a program. I went from pool exercises to working on equipment in the therapy room. I have gained range and strength and have a plan to keep going. The facility is easily accessible and well equipped. What a great experience therapy was for me in Williamstown, West Virginia. I would like to make some comments. First of all, the team there is great. They treated me with respect and concern. The minute I walked in the door, Rebecca greeted me and helped me with my paperwork.  Andy reviewed my case. Andy, Jeremiah, and Andrea did therapy with me. It was a ten-star job. When I first started  therapy, I was on 2 1/2 L of oxygen, and I was on a walker. When I finished therapy a few months later, I did not need oxygen, and I was walking with a cane. There are a few observations I made by being in therapy. First, I had a staff that had compassion for me, but not only me, but for all of their clients. They made it like a home atmosphere from putting up lights to putting out little things that made us feel at home. They had a question of the day they would ask you  almost every day, and they made therapy fun in no time. They put up lights at Easter time, they put a little inflatable bunny out front, and they had Easter eggs with candy inside for us to find for an Easter egg hunt. At the Christmas season, they had an inflatable and they had little gifts for us.Also, no matter how badly we felt, they were always willing to help. I highly recommend them. This team knows how to take care of the customer, this being said from someone who has been in customer service for 41 years. I have had therapy in other facilities in other areas, and this one is tops. I want to thank Andy and his team.  I looked forward to going to therapy each time. They made me feel that I should do the best I  can, and they said, “We’re here to help you through this.” The other day I walked 920 feet with a cane and without oxygen in six minutes, I was able to sit and stand five times in 21 seconds, and then completed my routine exercises afterward. I have gone to FSPT different times. I've had several back surgeries and the therapy helps me regain strength each time. The Pool with the hot water has been a life saver for me.  They are very patient and personalize the treatment as you become stronger.  I'm 85 years old but not ready to just sit down and complain. I’ve been coming to FSPT Williamstown for almost two months now and I love it. Great staff, convenient location, clean equipment and their attention to detail is impeccable. I Love how knowledgeable everyone is and I feel well cared for after a major back surgery. My experience of PT after shoulder surgery has been much less painful than I thought it would be, thanks to Andrew at FSPT in Williamstown, WV.  He is very careful in his movement of my shoulder and has taught me that being able to relax my muscles is key to minimal-pain PT. He is very patient and goes at a pace that has totally relieved my initial anxiety. After only 3 weeks we have made good progress, and I look forward to the rest of the process and to regaining full use of my shoulder. FSO Williamstown is a super facility.  the staff is most cooperative and they all get along, something that works in a facility such as this. Relaxive Atmosphere, bright and happy location, I love how easy it is to make a appointment, Kristen at the front desk is very organized. The Head PT Andrew is very friendly, the other staff are professional and layed back. Very easy going place and a nice location. I highly reccomend it. This is my fourth rehab experience with First Settlement in Williamstown, all after joint replacement surgery.  The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, appointments usually have no wait time at all, and, most importantly, my rehab regimens have all led to excellent results. I chose FSPT Williamstown initially because of the ease of scheduling and location. I have been a patient since Nov. 2017 for double knee replacements. From day 1 the staff has been so helpful, supportive and most impressive, they are interested in my recovery. After 3 weeks on my first replacement I returned to my surgeon for a check up. My surgeon happens to be one of the top 22 knee/ hip replacement surgeons in North America and he wanted me to relay a message to the staff at Williamstown. He was so impressed with the progress of my knee that wanted me to let them know whatever it is they are doing in Williamstown to not change a thing and keep up the great work! They worked with me prior to my left hip replacement surgery and since my surgery in December, they continue to work with me stretching and exercising to help improve my quality of life.  I have teased them about being tough on me, but I appreciate their dedication to seeing each of their patients make progress. I went into FSPT in Williamstown, WV with an undefined problem with my shoulder. Andrew assessed my pain and limited movement and within 4 weeks I was 50% better and now I'm probably 75% back to normal. I have actually enjoyed my time there! I have worked with Angela and Jeremiah and Andrew and found them to be so pleasant and focused on my care, and the care of the folks I saw come in day after day!!! Everyone at the Williamstown facility is very friendly and professional. They do a fabulous job at making their patients feel comfortable and encourage them  to always push forward in order to achieve their goals. Questions regarding treatment are encouraged with easy to understand explanations given. The pool therapy is wonderful for those of us with knee replacements enabling us to extend our regular therapy due to the warmth of the water and it’s buoyancy.
