Everyone at FSPT is very friendly and caring. I have worked mostly with Craig.  I have also worked with Will, Elisa and Zach.  They have all been great to work with. Preplanning for knee replacement I began PT at First Settlement six weeks prior to surgery.  The staff Jake, Elis, Sarah, and Lauren were very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I resumed PT 3 days after surgery and also realized during recovery that all presurgical PT was used as beneficial in recovery helping with my range of motion and mobility. Jake and Elis were compassionate but firm in the PT recovery.  The personalities with the staff developed a friendship with myself and other patients. They are a young energetic group at FS and are quite sincere in the progress of therapy.  They evaluate and watch your daily advancement improving your fitness level and recovery. I suffered a bad stroke due to Covid and resulting complications 2 years ago. The stroke left me completely bedridden at first with the limbs on my left side completely paralyzed. I began Coming here for physical therapy after about 9 months of being completely immobilized when I first started here I couldn’t even stand up by myself. I’m still coming here twice a week and so far I can now get in and out of cars on my own and I can walk with a cane for about an hour without breaks and I’m able to ascend and descend stairs on my own without any real difficulty. This physical therapy office has given me so much of my independence back and I’m so grateful for this place. My treatment is still ongoing so who knows how much farther I’ll be able to walk before my treatment here is complete. Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way ☹️

I had my first appointment back at PT four days post-op. The six weeks of PT pre-surgery was clearly to my benefit and progress after surgery making the transition much easier with good results with range of motion. Great folks with a solid understanding of what they are doing. Heather made sure my appointments worked with my schedule every week and was always happy to help if I needed to make changes. I've been a patient of Dr. VanScoy's for over 15 years. I recommend him to anyone needing a chiropractor. He treats the whole person and not just an isolated issue. The team he works with is amazing too: TJ, Jenny, and Jordan as massage therapists and a physical therapist.  Brittany is in the office and is always welcoming and willing to assist. I just finished my physical therapy with Jordan and Kara in the Teays Valley location and have only great things to say about them! Very kind and you can tell they truly care about their patients. Dr VanScoy and his staff had me virtually pain free in one week. They are very compassionate and really care about their patients and the knowledge they have is vast. It goes beyond chiropractic care and physical therapy. It includes massage therapy, dry needling, cupping and nutrition. Dr. Darrin Vanscoy has gone above & beyond to treat my neck issues. It's a relief to find a doctor that truly cares about his patients. I highly recommend him. I want to give a shout out to Dr Darrin VanScoy and his awesome team of massage and physical therapists. I just started having some back/sciatic issues and went to see him yesterday. I started going to Trays Valley FSPT following shoulder surgery. I have been able to regain strength and flexibility thanks to the care given by the very caring and well trained staff.
