From the time I called to schedule my first appointment I felt like I was talking to a friend. I worked primarily with Emily, but had Tim for a couple visits. It didn't matter who I had for my therapy, they never missed a beat. Their professionalism and knowledge is second to none. I've been in PT before and I know going forward I won't be going anywhere else if I need it again. They're all easy to work with, very attentive and compassionate. I injured my knee this fall and was mostly immobile for two months. Emily custom tailored a recovery plan to get me back to work in a physically demanding field. Each session is laser focused around my goals, pain, and progress. Emily is always by my side during the session and consistently coaches my progress and answers my questions. Every session has a new exercise and/ or equipment to mix things up and push me toward my goals. Emily performs Dry Needling Therapy to help with muscle weakness/ activation of my quadriceps and overall stiffness/ pain in my knee. It has been very effective for me. Emily is such a professional and makes the process quick and painless. Emily and the entire staff at First Settlement Physical Therapy are friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and awesome! I shoulder surgery, and have been going to First Settlement Physical Therapy for 6 months. From the time you meet Morra and Sheila in the lobby to working with Emily and Tim it has been a great experience ! They are always smiling, open to listening to me and the concerns I have with my recovery. When I have an upcoming Dr appointment they provide me with an overview of my progress to take, and when I had a set back, they adjusted the program so I could continue without a delay. I would 100% recommend. I just finished my PT and as I was leaving I was advised that if I ever had any questions or concerns with my continued recovery, I could give them a call. Emily and Shea at the Fairmont location have been absolute miracle workers in helping me get back to normal tasks after a car accident. The exercises, dry needling techniques, and attention to trouble areas in my neck and back are so detailed and tailored to what I need. They listen and care for all signs progress and improvement. Also, the front desk is so friendly and easy to work with scheduling. They have text reminders for appointments and an app for at home exercises that helps so much. THERAPIST'S ARE SO NICE , CARING  WELL TRAINED. I HAVE HAD  ANDREA ROBBISON   FOR YEAR'S &  LOOKED  TO  FIND HER WHEN  I NEED TO GO TO THERAPY  , I DID FIND HER !!!!  I WOULD GO ANY WHERE SHE WAS  BUT  I ONLY HAVE 1 COMPLAIN THE  PARKING IS SO DANGEROUS ESPECALLY WHERE YOU HAVE PARKING SO MUCH  HOLES.  FOR PERSONS LIKE  ME TO GET OUT &  BE SCARE TO WALK IN IT , MY HUSBAND HAS ME HOLD  OF HIM , TILL  I GET UP THE PLATFORM  THEY ONLY PAINTED THE   PLACE BUT DIDNT FIX ANY OF IT. I WOULD THINK  THAT YOU WOULD BE FIXING IT , IF  DISABLE OR PEOPLE THAT NEED  TO BE THERE FOR THERAPY  COULD WALK ON IT & NOT BE  AFRAID TO WALK INTO THE BLUILDING  OTHER WISE  THE PLACE IS GREAT BUT MOSTLY BECAUSE OF THE THERAPIST'S

I have been going to FSPT for 7 months due to a work related injury. Emily Murphy is an amazing PT, along with all the PT’s that have worked with me!!! I recently started going to FSPT in Fairmont, WV for work reconditioning. Emily Murphy is so knowledgeable  in all areas of PT. I pushed five star however there's not a number that you can put on the stars for this physical therapy because they are so wonderful I'm blown away by the kindness and consideration of the team at first settlement physical therapy \ mountain State physical therapy, Andrea and Tim are extremely amazing they went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met and offering helpful advice and any solution with a genuine smile their exceptional coworkers Sheila , and Maya  are fabulous everyone who we've met there is just welcoming. The kindness that they show every patient every client that comes through their door is like welcoming family members. Gabe & Jackie provided wonderful physical therapy.  They have helped me relieve pain, restore mobility and restore the bodily functions I need to be active.  I greatly appreciate how they listen and interact with me.  They go way beyond healing me in their Fairmont office.  They continue teaching me exercises I do at home, and coach me each week; while helping me to improve techniques tailored specifically to my limitations and needs. Mountain State Physical Therapy provided me with phenomenal care following my automobile accident. Their receptionists were friendly, caring and organized. All billing information was thouroughly explained to me on day one, and I always received a thoughtful reminder text before each appointment. Andy, my physical therapist, was extremely knowledgable, patient and supportive. He took the time to ensure I understood the proper techniques to all assigned exercises, the purpose for each one and supplied me with videos to refer back to in case I forgot. We love Mountain State! They listen and pay attention to every detail. We were hard pressed to find a Therapist that would even take my daughter as a patient with the Covid-19 pandemic. She was in desperate need after having a boot/cast for 12 weeks. Mountain State went above and beyond to make us feel safe and welcome.
