Loved all the therapist who care for me, they listened to my concerns and walked me through how to handle pain and swelling. I recommend them highly for your after surgery therapy.  Very knowledgeable how to handle rebuilding strength and getting you back on feet. Never discouraging always uplifting kindness and encouragement on my road back.  I was able to get back to work within 8 weeks after surgery and do my job comfortably without pain. Top notch PT practice! I am 51 and have had lifelong health issues (arthritis since childhood) and as a result have been in and out of physical therapy for decades. Last April I had a total knee replacement (my 4th total joint replacement) and as this was my first need for PT since moving to the area, I had to find a practice that could meet all my needs. Thankfully I found this one and it’s one of the best and most thorough I’ve ever been to! Everyone was fantastic! Amelia and Chris were my main physical therapists, and I can’t say enough great things about them! Not only did they get me to a full range of motion, but they taught me things I didn’t even know could help and my overall health was greatly improved! They were kind and informative, took their time and knew when to push me that little bit more to get me motivated and progressing. Now at 1 year post-op I can do things I never could before with my knee, like crossing my legs and squatting down, which I hadn’t been able to do in decades, and a lot of that I attribute to the physical therapy I received! I am GREATFUL My Doctor sent me to FSPT for therapy as my last treatment before having surgery. I was convinced surgery was my only option until I started therapy. Now my therapy at FSPT is what is making me well again. Thanks to Amelia and staff I have made a remarkable Improvement. They know their profession and what will correct my issues. I now have more faith in therapy than surgery. If you are facing surgery why not contact FSPT and discuss with them your aches and pains. It may also save you from surgery. I went to FSPT in Lancaster twice: for my broken shoulder last summer/fall, and for my balance after having brain surgery in the spring/summer. I was so happy with FSPT the first time that I knew I wanted to go back the second time. And I’m so glad I did. They are so talented and knowledgeable, extremely capable, super nice, friendly, kind, patient, and understanding. I really enjoyed going to PT both times! Amelia, the Director,  has a doctorate in PT, and is extremely knowledgeable and so good at her job. She treats her staff with respect,  and I can tell they are happy and feel like a family. I have worked with all of the staff at some  point and am very impressed with their knowledge, capability, kindness, and professionalism. They are a great group and work so well together, helping each other without even being asked. I have never for a second doubted their ability and I would go back in a heartbeat, although I hope I don’t have any more injuries! My shoulder is back to normal, and my balance is excellent! I can do all the a activities I want/need to do, thanks to Amelia, Chris, Cole, Aaron, Emily (OT) and their students. And of course Holly, the office manager. I don’t know what I would have done without her. Holly is smart,  knowledgeable super patient, and all around amazing, and takes care of everything! I highly recommend FSPT. There’s nothing like getting your mobility back working with an extremely competent and talented staff while having fun doing it!

I’m so pleased with the therapy I received!  Staff was awesome!  Chris, Amelia (sp?) Rochelle and Holly were all great to work with!  Should I need PT in the future, I know where I’m going.  When I was searching for a place, I saw the reviews which were impressive!  What business has that many reviews and maintains a 5 star raring?  After being there, I saw how! I was referred to First Settlement Physical Therapy by my family doctor for sessions to help a strained ligament in my right knee.  I received excellent PT from Amelia and Chris.  They were both thorough and kind and good listeners.  They  made sure that I understood each exercise (the reason for it and how to do it).  They gave me all my exercises in a print out with explicit directions and there is also a website that I can access to log my exercises and review videos of how to do each set.  The entire staff at First Settlement are friendly and welcoming (Holly at the front desk and all).  It has been a very pleasant and helpful experience.  I recommend them highly!

The staff here are always so friendly. They answer any questions you might have and really listen to your feedback on how your treatment is going for you. They make sure you are comfortable and able to perform the task/exercise throughout your visit. If anything doesn't feel right for you, they will adjust your treatment immediately. Safety is definitely key for these guys and gals. Aaron is my therapist and I think he does an amazing job with my issues. My issues are ongoing and seem to have no clear course of treatment to correct the problem, not having a clear path to fixing it is frustrating and having to go to PT sucks for anyone but going here makes it suck less.

Having a very good experience at First Settlement. My therapist is thorough and asks a lot of questions to understand my pain and needs. All on the team are very friendly. I went to FSPT to strengthen the muscles around my knees to hopefully delay knee replacement. The entire staff was welcoming and friendly. I would totally recommend this facility to anyone in need of physical therapy. They are very knowledgeable in their field. I appreciated that they always took time to answer my questions and explained things in detail for me. Needless to say I was very pleased with the results of my therapy. These folks kno what they are doing.  Considerate of each patients individual needs.  Plus EVERY SINGLE employee is super nice and friendly.  Lots of laughter and u can tell they are all friends outside of work.  Great people.  If u need therapy u should consider this place. I had Mathew as my PT and it has been awesome so far! The company and Mat are very professional and accommodating! They send Mat to my residence to perform my PT to make it even more convent for me! I don’t know any other place that has offered that. Provides great tips in daily things based on my injury and is friendly and easy to talk to. My son Erikson is 2 years old and began aquatic therapy with Ryan! I have absolutely  nothing but wonderful things to say about this place! Not only is it clean, every one is very nice and seems very knowledgeable! We are very happy and will continue  to love it here! I 100% recommend  this establishment  for any person looking to do therapy!
