Started PT on my right shoulder 11/2/2025 after  surgery and being in a sling for six weeks. I had poor range of motion at the beginning. But after PT three days a week, at the end of November my range of motion had greatly increased. I was moving my shoulder and arm into positions that I had not been able to for several years. I had my last PT on 01/05/2026 and I am thrilled with my recovery and I definitely appreciate the staff at Barlow FSPT. They are very professional, knowledgeable, pleasant and will provide an excellent PT program for your recovery. I special Thank you to Jesse. He over saw the majority of my PT sessions. He was a firm encourager, a positive influence, and a suffering Browns fan.🤣🤣 Thank you FSPT Barlow for helping me with my recovery. You are greatly appreciated!! I started physical therapy two days after having hip replacement. By the end of the second week I quit using my walker and started using a cane. At the end of the Second two weeks I quit using the cane too. I know this would not have been possible without the team of physical therapists at First Settlement.

When I first started therapy at First Settlement, my back, legs, knees and ankles hurt with pain being 7-9 on a scale of 10.  The staff helped me do physical therapy to get my pain under control with no to occasional discomfort. Excellent facility with an outstanding staff to run it! Professional, friendly and at ease are hard to find in the same place, especially a PT place, but these folks are ROCKSTARS. Karyn, Kate,Jerry & Abby at the Barlow / Vincent, OH location have made this recovery so successful!!! I've done at least 8 rounds of P.T. in the last 6 yrs & this is my FIRST time at FSPT. My needs this time around were INCREDIBLY complex! Spoke w/ Kate & Karyn when I started to call around to find just the right place,..BINGO!!!!! 1st call & perfect fit! I've been a professional patient for 7+yrs with multiple significant body system issues. Now add to that 2 back to back spinal surgeries & a spinal cord stimulator,.. I needed the BEST & SMARTEST TEAM for me to be successful. I can only be successful to restore my quality of life b/c Karyn ( Physical Therapist) understands my needs, limitations, complexity of my surgery, and how to make me the best new version I can be. Jerry & Abby help to provide that as well, maintaining a positive forward momentum. Then there's Kate... Wow!!! She seamlessly makes the process easy to manage. Always so helpful and efficient!! The option of pool therapy has been a big factor to help me work efficiently on gaining strength and muscle.They are a great team to help me move through the next levels of becoming better. The Barlow Staff is very professional. They genuinely care about your therapy and recovery. They will take your concerns and design a program that will benefit your therapy needs. I just love First Settlement Physical Therapy Barlow Office...I was a patient and also brought my 87 yr.old mother.We both have benefitted greatly.I can't thank the staff enough for there wonderful caring attitudes and dispositions every time we come in.It has made all the difference in the world to my recovery and also to moms.The Dr.was doubtful she would ever have the use of her hand again but she is doing great.We are so blessed to have this staff in our area and would recommend them highly.You can go anywhere for therapy but this place is fun and makes recovery pleasant....
