Aquatic therapy, or pool therapy, is an exercise program that is performed in warm water (a comfortable 92℉). The natural properties of water (buoyancy, resistance, and hydrostatic pressure) allow patients to achieve movements not possible on dry land due to pain, weakness, or the inability to bear weight.
